As happens every year, the 2024 Handbike Week took place in Podersdorf in September—a key event for handbikers looking to exchange ideas, ride together, and experience new developments in the sport. Despite mixed weather, the atmosphere was fantastic throughout.
This time, Simon and his wife joined many other enthusiastic riders. The week was supervised by instructors from the AUVA Rehabilitation Clinic Tobelbad, who provided professional guidance and valuable tips. Cura-San supported the event by offering technical assistance to quickly fix breakdowns and transporting the wheelchairs during the rides.
Premiere for the Ranger
A particular highlight was the first public presentation and opportunity to test our new handbike prototype, the SCOUT (formerly Prodigy). For the first time, potential customers could see the bike in action, and the initial reactions were promising. The feedback was direct, practical, and extremely valuable to us.
An event with significance
Handbike Week is not just a sporting gathering; it is also a platform for further developing the sport and testing new technologies in real-world conditions. Direct interaction with the riders helps us develop products that truly meet the community’s needs.
One thing is certain for us: we’ll be back in 2025!
