RESET is an Austrian handbike manufacturer dedicated to opening up new possibilities for people with mobility challenges in their daily lives, leisure activities, and sports. Using innovative technology, high-quality materials, and a great deal of passion, we develop handbikes that combine freedom, safety, and riding enjoyment.
We firmly believe that a disability should not determine which paths are possible. That is why we develop adaptive mountain bikes and hand bikes that open up new experiences in nature and meet the highest standards of functionality, quality, and safety.

Simon has been a passionate mountain biker and motorcyclist since 2004. After a motorcycle accident and the resulting paraplegia, he developed and built the first prototype and brought the idea for RESET to life. Simon holds a doctorate in engineering sciences in the field of mechanical engineering.
DI Thomas Mayr BSc.
Mountain biking has been Thomas’s great passion since 2015. His fascination with mountain biking, combined with his degrees in mechanical engineering and materials science, bring not only technical expertise but also an unwavering vision for progress and excellence to the RESET team.

Why should we?
From the idea to a bike
In 2022, Thomas and Simon, both mechanical engineers and passionate off-road riders, began to develop their vision: hand bikes that offer true freedom – for everyone. After Simon’s accident in 2020 and the challenge of remaining mobile despite his disability, the idea for RESET was born.
What began as a small workshop idea quickly became a project designed to enable people with disabilities to get back on the trails and into nature—without compromising on technology, riding experience, or safety.
Today, RESET develops handcrafted high-end bikes that bring movement and adventure into everyday life—for everyone who wants to experience freedom outdoors.
